Remember way back when, when I swore off cheese in an effort to get a better rating on my new 30-year term life insurance?
What a sad, sad time that was for me.
But I found out today, that it was totally worth it!
Yes, it's true. I was rated Preferred Best. I feel so special.
And for the next 30 years I can be all happy when I write my check to them knowing that I endured one month of cheeselessness to get a better rate And It Worked!!!
I haven't gotten the medical report from the insurance company yet, but I think it's safe to say that I was able to get my cholesterol down to within normal range.
So you know what this proves to me?
Nothing, except that I need to schedule any cholesterol tests one month in advance. Oh and all the extra fiber I consumed is an excellent diet aid. I lost 5 pounds during that month and I haven't put any of it back on, despite the fact that I'm back to my regular eating habits in which cheez-its are considered a healthy side dish.

Hahhahaa! I'll have to remember that trick. I know how it is about the diet though, I just got back home from school and I'm just in awe of how much more fat I eat here...
Hurray for stiff arteries!

Congrats! I have a funny picture from this weekend of my 2yo nephew walking around with one of those Cheez-It boxes that says "Get Your Own Box" on the back. He wouldn't put the box down.

Are you partial to the yellow cheez-its or the white cheddar? My guys switch back and forth, but I prefer the yellow...less messy.

It's the original cheez-its for me. And I actually think the ones in the small packages taste better.
